REVIEW:  Hand built in 2002 by Rainer Weichmann in London Ontario, Canada.
Flying V replica 22 frets. Constructed from premium quality Korina (African Limba) with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Abalone dot inlays with a custom inverted V inlay at the 12th fret position.
One volume, 2 tone and a 3- way switch provide the control at my request and they are laid out to provide easy access to the volume knob for violin type swells. 2 Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers in standard Gibson formation. The electronics are totally passive. The body finish is Heritage sunburst with nitro cellulose lacquer. The bridge is a standard tune-o-matic and the strings are through the body via a classic V plate tail piece. Planet waves locking tuners are fitted to the Ebony veneered headstock. All hardware is gold plated. The deal included a standard Gibson type Flying V case. Rating here is a 10 because the features are exactly what I ordered but the quality of workmanship exceeded my expectations.
